Jim Glidewell: Born in 1945, Las Vegas, Nevadajglidewell@glidewelldental.com
President, CEO, CDT
After military service in Southeast Asia Jim attended a 2 year dental technology program at Orange Coast College and graduated in 1969. He formally opened Glidewell Laboratories in January 1970 and by 1981, operated 9 laboratories in Southern California. He has been instrumental in developing new equipment and techniques with the objective of keeping down dental laboratory expenses. He also directs the Research & Development Department in developing cost effective dental restorations.

Chief Financial Officer, CPA
Rob brings more than 20 years of financial experience to Glidewell. The executive financial positions he has held range from startups to Fortune 500 Companies in technology, retail and manufacturing. Rob is also a CPA with 10 years of public accounting experience with KPMG Peat Marwick and Ernst & Young.

Vice President, Sales & Marketing, BA
Jim graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in Biology in 1976. His dental career began later that year for American Hospital Supply Corp. Denticon Division as a sales representative at their Zuest Dental Laboratory location. His prior positions include Denticon West Area Sales Manager, Marketing Manager for Degussa Dental, and President of Coltene Inc. Jim is also a member of the Academy of Sports Dentistry.

Vice President, Operations, BA
Darryl graduated with a BA in Anthropology from the University of Maine in 1988. His career started at Glidewell in February 1989 in the Shipping & Receiving Department. He was then promoted to the Accounting Department, where he worked in accounts payable and as assistant to the controller. Finally, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations, a position he has held for the past seven years.
  Anna Ameduri: Born in 1961, Long Beach, California aameduri@glidewelldental.com
Vice President, Logistical Development
Anna began her career at Glidewell Laboratories in 1988 as the first Production Scheduler. Within a year, she became the Shipping Manager, a position she held until December 2004. During that time she gained experience in billing, customer service, payroll, marketing, package design and also spent time on the lab floor. In December 2004, Anna was promoted to Vice President of Logistical Development.

Vice President, Human Resources, BS, MS
Stephenie brings more than 14 years of HR experience to Glidewell. She joined us from the International Finance Corporation (IFC)/World Bank. Before IFC, Stephenie was a Senior Managing Consultant and Deputy Director of the Human Capital practice of PricewaterhouseCooper’s Northern Virginia office. Stephenie also spent time in HR at Bank of America and Allstate Insurance. She has a BS from Cal Poly, SLO and a MS in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from SJSU.
  Glenn Sasaki: Born in 1962, Torrance, California gsasaki@glidewelldental.com
Controller, CPA
Glenn graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills, in 1990. Glenn spent 11 years at public accounting firm KPMG, LLP as a senior manager. He also served as director of reporting and planning for Advanced Medical Optics Inc. before joining Glidewell in June 2005. But his experience with dental technology began long before that. Glenn’s father is a retired CDT who worked in private offices and owned his own Southern California lab for 15 years.

Director, Education, Research and Development, MDT, CDT
Wolfgang graduated in 1981 from Albrecht Duerer College in Duesseldorf, Germany as a certified dental technician. He went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Dental Technology at the Bildungs Academy, Karlsruhe in 1995. He joined Glidewell Laboratories in 1996 as a ceramist, and in 1997 began to teach technicians the art of ceramics. In 1999 he started the Glidewell Education Center. In 2003 he was promoted to Director of R&D. He now oversees education and research & development.
  Michael C. DiTolla: Born in 1964, Lynwood, Californiamditolla@glidewelldental.com
Director of Clinical Education & Research, DDS, FAGD
Dr. DiTolla completed his DDS from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry with honors in 1988. He lectures frequently on topics ranging from crown and bridge to esthetic dentistry and was in private practice for 13 years before joining our team. He is a contributing editor for Contemporary Esthetics, has a monthly column on restorative dentistry in Dental Economics, and is Clinical Editor for Chairside Magazine.

Manager, Sales & Marketing, CDT
In 1977, Mike started his dental career as a model and die technician at Laguna Hills Dental Lab and graduated in 1981 from the Dental Technology Institute in Orange, Ca. After working as a Crown & Bridge technician at various dental labs including San Ramon Dental Lab and Zuest Dental Laboratory, he began a career in sales and marketing with Coltene/Whaledent in 1984. In 1993, he joined Glidewell Laboratories as director of customer relations and today is manager of Sales & Marketing.

Manager, Customer Relations
Paula began her career at Glidewell in 1980 as a Delivery Person and within 6 months, became Office Manager of Cal-West Dental Ceramics in Tustin, California. In 1992, Cal-West was consolidated into the main lab, prior to future expansion. Working as a Customer Relations representative, she was quickly promoted to supervising, and in 1996 became Manager of Customer Relations. Her outstanding service and communication skills have played a key role in defining our standards and commitment to our customers.

General Manager, Fixed Prosthodontics, CDT
After graduating from Southern California College in 1983 with a degree in Dental Technology, he joined our former Hallmark Dental Laboratory in Fullerton, California. After demonstrating high technical skills, he was asked to come to Glidewell Laboratories as fixed prosthodontics manager. Initially that meant managing 25 technicians. With Jim Glidewell's management philosophy firmly in mind, he helped to expand the department and today manages over 300 employees.

General Manager, BioTemps, CDT
Robert began his dental technology career in 1973 and by 1977 he received his Dental Technology Degree from Albrecht Duerer College in Duesseldorf, Germany. In 1986 he came to Glidewell Laboratories and helped establish the BioTemps Department. Today he manages 133 technicians at the BioTemps Dental Laboratory. This laboratory focuses on creating restorations that precisely match the contours, occlusion, and esthetics of BioTemps.
  Keevin Shigenaka: Born in 1959, Santa Maria, Californiakshigenaka@glidewelldental.com
General Manager, All Ceramics, CDT
In 1976, utilizing a scholarship, Keevin, at age 18, graduated as one of Dental Technology Institute’s youngest students. After graduation he worked for Uri Yaroveski and helped with the initial field testing of Isosit/Concept indirect composite system. He was head ceramic manager for Integrated Dental Lab, and was lead ceramist for Northwest Esthetics Lab. In 1996, he joined Glidewell Laboratories. He assembled an excellent technical staff and has grown the department from 50 to 165 technicians.

General Manager, Composites, Wol-Ceram & Lava, CDT
She graduated in 1983 from Southern California College with a degree in Dental Technology. After working in all phases of laboratory work at Zimmer Dental Laboratory, she joined Glidewell Laboratories in 1992. She started as a ceramist but quickly moved into supervising ceramic in-process quality control. After several years, she was promoted to Composite Department supervisor. In 2004, she received a promotion to General Manager of Composites & Wol-Ceram.
  Dzevad Ceranic: Born 1978, Metkovic, Bosniadceranic@glidewelldental.com
General Manager, Full-Cast, CDT
After graduating from high school, Dzevad found a calling to dental technology. He soon enrolled in and graduated from the Pasadena City College Dental Technology program. Hired in 1999, Dzevad began working at Glidewell as a waxer and metal finisher and soon worked his way up to a ceramist. With the skills and experience acquired as a dental technician, Dzevad earned the role General Manager of the Full-Cast Department where he currently oversees 65 employees.

General Manager, Dentures and Valplast, CDT
After serving in the U.S Navy, David graduated in 1981 from Northwest School of Dental Technology in Chicago. He worked in several laboratories in all phases of denture fabrication, including 12 years in-house and chairside experience. He is PTC Certified, Valplast Certified, and Certified in Advanced Management. He first joined Glidewell in 1995 under the direction of Ron Fichter and soon was promoted to Q.C. Supervisor of Denture Department. In 2007, David was promoted to General Manager.

General Manager, Partials, Combination Crowns & Partial Dentures, CDT
A 1977 graduate of the Naval School of Dental Technology, Jerry practiced dental assisting and laboratory technology for 10 years while in the Navy. Soon after, Jerry moved to San Diego, where he worked for Grossmont Dental Lab for the next 12 years and also obtained his Certification in Partials. Hired at Glidewell as Production Manager of the Partial Denture Department in 1995, Jerry now serves as General Manager of that department as well as the Combination Crown & Partial Department.

General Manager, Thermoforming
Greg started at Glidewell Laboratories in 1996 and held several technical and non-technical positions, gaining valuable knowledge of the dental industry. In 2002 after serving as a Thermoforming Product Specialist, he transferred to the Thermoforming department where he quickly earned the position of Q.C. Supervisor. Greg was promoted to General Manager, Thermoforming in January 2007.

Director of Implant Business Development
After attending Chapman University to study Business Administration, Greg began a sales career in orthopedics and radiology before transitioning to the dental field. He began his career in dental implants in sales with Steri-Oss. Following the company’s acquisition by Nobel Biocare, Greg was promoted into the product development group and later to Director of Marketing. Greg oversees Glidewell Lab’s implant division, consisting of laboratory production, product development and manufacturing.

General Manager, Removable Call Center
Tammie began her career at Glidewell in 1994 as a receptionist. She was quickly promoted and has held many positions, including customer service representative and account manager. Tammie transferred to the Removable Department as a technical advisor in 1999 and was promoted to Call Center Manager just four years later. Currently, Tammie serves as General Manager, of the Removable Call Center, where her vast dental knowledge makes her a valuable asset.
