Computer-aided design / computer-aided manufacturing provides consistent anatomy and reduces the time you spend chairside. First, we scan the opaqued metal coping, adjacent contact points and opposing dentition. Margin accuracy is confirmed and a 3D image is printed. The restoration is designed using software that contains a proprietary library of morphology. A technician refines proximal contacts and computer equilibrates the occlusion, virtually eliminating chairside adjustment. We offer PFM products such as ProCeram™ and Captek™ using the CAD/CAM process.
