Captek™ Bridge & Implant
Ceramic is fused to 22kt Captek gold, producing esthetics that rival all-ceramic restorations. While traditionally indicated for crowns and 3-unit bridges, an improvement in material – named Captek Bridge & Implant – yields even higher strength and density, making it ideal for long span bridges and implants. Captek B & I is highly biocompatible and corrosion resistant due to its metal alloy composition of 88 percent gold and nine percent platinum group metals. Captek B & I has twice the volume of platinum and palladium than traditional Captek, indicating this material for restorations including: cantilever bridges, bruxers and full arch cases.
